Olivia's Baptism - September 6

Olivia was supposed to be baptized on August 30, but there was a huge windstorm that weekend, leaving many without power.  That Sunday morning was very chaotic.  No one knew if the church had power or not and you could only call people who had cell phones (and only if yours had battery-power still!).  Church ended up being cancelled that day, and the baptism postponed until the following Sunday.

I'm lucky to have a great-aunt who always offers to take pictures of the baptism during the service:

And once again, we are so blessed to be able to worship with both sets of our parents and both sets of our grandparents:

{Jon's Bomhof grandparents, "Opa and Oma".  Opa just celebrated his 94th birthday this past week!}

{My Vander Ende grandparents, "Grandpa and Grandma" to Jon and I and "Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma" to the kids.}

  1. That is incredible to have so much family support around and in your church!
