I took just Matthew with me to Dr. Cline's office this time, and left Kayla and Nathan with my Mom. We first stopped at B&W Insurance to renew the Tahoe's insurance, where Matthew was told he could choose one candy. He chose Smarties. As he was standing there waiting, he told me that he was going to share with Kayla when we got home. I explained to them that Kayla was his twin sister, and so they told Matthew he could choose one thing for Kayla, too. He was so excited to give Kayla her 'present'.
Matthew's eye appointment went really well. His left eye was able to read the letters just as well as his right eye could, which wasn't the case last time! They definitely still see that when he focuses on objects close to him that his left eye drifts inwards. We were told that he doesn't have to wear his patch anymore, and they would like to see us back in three months. If his vision is the same in both eyes, then we can discuss what to do about his eye drifting inwards. If his vision is not the same in both eyes, then that will have to be addressed first.
