Nothing much happened/was discussed at my doctor's appointment. Dr. Smith wasn't at all concerned that I had fallen the night before. She told me to envision my uterus like a water balloon full of water, with an egg inside. If you drop the water balloon, the egg won't (shouldn't!) break. Phew!
Baby Struik's heart rate was in the 150s, to which Dr. Smith said "Maybe a girl?" Looks like she knows her old wives tales too!
My next 'appointment' is my ultrasound on March 12, and then another prenatal appointment on March 26.
After struggling with infertility for three years, we were blessed with the birth of Matthew and Kayla in March 2011 (by in vitro) , Nathan in October 2013 (by frozen embryo transfer), and Olivia in August 2015 (naturally!). We are loving every moment (well, almost!) of our lives as parents.
